The Search for the Toughest Jobs Philippines

Last hot Wednesday morning of May 26, 2010 was the launching of The Search for the Toughest Jobs Philippines at the Department of Labor and Employment, Ople Hall and I was lucky enough to be invited to witness it. The hall was jam packed with media of all sorts when we arrived because we heard that the People’s Champ will be there during the launching; however, he didn’t made it to the launching for he was recently checked-out from the hospital.

The Search for the Toughest Jobs Philippines is open to all working Filipinos here and abroad. The search will run from May 26 to August 21, 2010. For you to be able to join the search, you must first log on to www.toughjobsphilippines.com, register and upload a photo of yours together with an explanation why you have the toughest job.
To win you must have the most number of votes online. So, meaning you have to kind of promote yourself online through facebook, friendster, multiply or to any social networking site. Winner of the search will bring home a trophy and cold cash prize.

If don’t have any plans in joining the search you could just Vote for the Toughest Jobs in the Philippines entry. You can browse their gallery and find a Filipino who deserves to win.
Maybe being a blogger can also be considered as one of the toughest jobs in the Philippines. Though, some people find blogging not as a job but just a past time. Anyways, back to being a blogger. A blogger should always spread concise and accurate information to its readers. That’s only one of the many things a blogger should consider in writing a post. Aside from that, a blogger should follow certain ethics and code of conduct in covering events. Yes, blogger are somewhat dubbed as the new media, thus, one should act as one. A blogger should always remember that we’re not just bringing the name “blogger” but we are also bringing ourselves.
Thanks to Alaxan for being the one who spearheaded The Search for the Toughest Jobs Philippines. They noticed how hard working Filipinos are in the different field. Haven’t tried taking Alaxan, yet, but my uncle said that you can right away feel the relief of muscle pains after taking Alaxan.
For me, the people working at Department of Public Service are worth nominating for this search. Most of them spent most of their time under the heat of the sun and the hard pouring rain almost everyday just to clean up the mess those irresponsible citizens threw in the streets. As we all know that cleaning the mess of other people, in some cases, is against our will; however, they’re still motivated to do this job even if they are just earning at a minimum salary.
Not all people noticed how hard working they are, thus, this search might be the first step in noticing their motivation and hard work in keeping our city clean.

The Search for the Toughest Jobs Philippines is made possible by the efforts of Department of Labor and Employment, People’s Champ Manny Pacquiao and Alaxan FR.

I like this contest because many people are working very hard but their efforts were not recognized. I think this is the time to voice out our sentiment and who knows one of us will win the cool prize.
By the way Bisaya pod ko.
