RAMON ABOITIZ FOUNDATION TRIENNIAL AWARDS FACT SHEET

The Ramon Aboitiz Award for Exemplary Individual Category

The Ramon Aboitiz Award for Exemplary Individual is open to every Filipino, natural born or naturalized citizen, who is at least 30 years old and of good moral character whose dedication to his/her profession/vocation has made significant contributions to the advancement of the well-being of his/her fellow Filipinos.

Criteria

1. Fosters respect for the dignity of a person through philanthropic and selfless deeds.
2. Initiated and/or implemented programs for the benefit of the less privileged and created lasting impact on their lives.
3. Demonstrate integrity, industriousness, leadership and initiative.
4. Exhibits selfless commitment and dedication to uplift the socio-economic condition of the poor and the marginalized.
5. Practices pro-Filipino and Pro-God values.

Triennial Award Categories and Criteria

The Eduardo Aboitiz Award for Outstanding Institution Category

The Eduardo Aboitiz Award for Outstanding Institution is open to all institutions/organizations (government organizations, non-government organizations, people’s organizations and other private institutions), established for at least three (3) years with functional programs and services that have build dedicated partnerships with other groups in bringing about comprehensive and responsible development.

Criteria

1. Exhibits leadership in responsible development; serves as a catalyst of change.
2. Developed strong partnerships with government organizations, non-government organizations, civic and people’s organizations and other groups in bringing desired, holistic, societal change.
3. Established self-reliant communities whose values are responsive to the well-being of their members through the process of participation, capacity and institutional building, people empowerment and gender equity.
