Born in Cebu, City, Max is knows as one of the best novelty singers in the Philippines and the King of Visayan Songs. His first novelty song was titled “Lolang Kunot”. He composes and writes his own songs and has made 33 albuns so far. His famous songs are Gihidlaw na Intawn Ako (Mitulo nah), Ang Manok ni San Pedro, Baleleng, and Bibingka ug Budbud, among many others. Although known primarily for his singing novelty songs, he has also recorded romantic ballads.
