The things he does in and out of the ring contribute to his still-rising stock value, and I think he's effectively marketing himself to advertisers and consumers even without the best talent (boxing's the exception, of course). Come to think of it, even the controversies he's tied to right now (his personal life and his political plans) have been helping his publicity a lot! Not entirely a positive thing, but publicity's publicity and at the end of the day, that's what counts the most when brands look for endorsers.
